How do I open a dispute?

Guide2 min read
In short
  • Open the order and press Dispute before the protection window ends.
  • Your payment stays held until the dispute is settled.
  • If you and the seller cannot agree, an AimJunkies staff member decides.

Open the dispute

  1. Open the order. Go to Orders in your dashboard and pick the order.
  2. Press Dispute on the item, or use the Dispute button in the order chat.
  3. Say what went wrong. Add your evidence: screenshots, the error text or a short video.
  4. Send it. The seller is told straight away.

What happens next

  1. You open it. Every timer stops and the payment stays held.
  2. The seller answers. They have 24 hours to reply in the order chat, and can settle by agreeing a refund.
  3. You reply. When staff or the seller wait on you, you have 48 hours to answer.
  4. Staff decide. If you still cannot agree, a staff member reviews the chat and our records.
Your money is held while the dispute is open. The seller is not paid for that item until it is settled.

How it can end

Full refund:
the whole item price goes back to your Wallet.
Partial refund:
part goes back to your Wallet and the rest is released to the seller.
Release:
the seller is paid and the order completes.
Keep the deal in the order chat. Anything agreed outside AimJunkies is not protected, and staff can only review what is in the chat.
